During the past twelve years, book design has been the cornerstone of my business.
Because of my magazine experience, the associations that came from it, and my other enthusiasms,
many of those books have been heavily pictorial — art, history, and photography, but others
have required purely typographical treatment. They range from a long-running 1999 best-seller with 1.7 million
copies in print, to a privately published keepsake in a limited edition of 38 numbered copies.
